Jag tror Valve vet med sig att även om det är likt L4D så kommer många ändå betala fullpris för en uppföljare.

Tycker för övrigt att det ser coolt ut och tillräckligt annorlunda faktiskt. Hoppas de släpper mer detaljer snart.

Men hade varit roligare om dom la ner massor med tid på det och att vi får se ett grymt spel.

Och HÄR fanns det tydligen gameplay också. Ja, det ser konstigt ut, men det lär väl fortfarande vara i utvecklingsstadiet :P

Left 4 Dead 2 is set in the American South; there's going to be more of a narrative thread that connects the campaigns this time around, as opposed to just the seemingly random campaigns of the first game.

So it’s more story driven, but what can we expect from the versus and survival modes?

Well out of the gate, it’s five campaigns, all will have versus and all will have survival mode. So you’re going to see all of that. There are some tweaks to survival mode that we’re looking at doing as well as versus. We have new creatures, like the Charger here, that’s playable and we’re getting a couple more that are playable, so there’s a bigger group to cycle through so you won’t always be the Hunter when the others are the Smoker and Boomer ... it picks something else and then also, we have a whole new game mode that we’re not talking about yet, but there’s some really cool stuff in there.

Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2), the sequel to the best-selling and critically-acclaimed action thriller from Valve is being shown this weekend at The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle, Washington.

The game is available to play, by the press and public, at Valve and Microsoft's Xbox 360 booth.

After debuting "The Parish" campaign (set in the New Orleans' French Quarter) at E3 and "Swamp Fever" at Comic Con San Diego, Dark Carnival is the third of the five campaigns shipping with L4D2 this fall.

Valve is also unveiling a new Boss infected monster coming in the full version of Left 4 Dead 2. Known as "The Jockey" this is the third new Boss infected from L4D2 revealed thus far (the Charger was revealed at E3, The Spitter at Comic Con). The Jockey lets you attack lone Survivors and wrestle control of their movement away from them-into fire, off ledges, or straight into the middle of a zombie horde.

In addition to the new campaign and boss monster the PAX showing of L4D2 marks the debut of the "Zombie Clown," the "uncommon common" exclusive to the Dark Carnival campaign, and a few more of the 20-plus new items coming in the full product (electric guitar, machete, and the American baseball bat being offered as a pre-sell exclusive with select retailers).

Coming exclusively to Xbox 360 and PC on November 17, Left 4 Dead 2 promises to set a new benchmark for co-operative action games and become one of 2009's marquee titles.

You know that secret game mode that Valve have been hinting at since E3 for Left 4 Dead 2? Well thanks to an event in San Francisco last night, we can report that the new mode is called "Scavenge" and will deal a much quicker and much more manic experience.

Joystiq are reporting that the objective of the competitive game type is for the survivors to gather gas cans that are situated around one of the game's 6 confined locations and fuel a generator before a two minute countdown expires. Each gas can adds 20 seconds to the timer, of which there are 16 in total.

Woah, it's not that easy though... the survivors will have to contended with an opposing team of Special Infected - and standard zombies of course - and it is said to be a great mode for two of the new Special Infected - namely the Jockey and the Spitter - to come in to their own.

Orkar inte vänta längre. Aldrig bokat ett spel så långt i förväg. 3 månader bestämt.

Visst ser jag fram emot att spela skiten men inte så pass att jag blir tokig, både Borderlands och MW2 kommer vara bättre spel än L4D.

Väntar spänt på achievementslistan innan jag blir riktigt sugen, vet att valve förmodligen kommer knulla en i arslet med en ny Nothing special v2.0 eller något

Och vi knullar dem tillbaka med en glitch. Simple as that.

Är det svårt alltså? Vad innebär Realismmode?

Har har bara spelat första spelet en gång men bokade ändå 2an eftersom flera kompisar kommer köra det.

Realism mode ska vara svårare än Expert.
